Test certificates DIN EN ISO 6789:2017
Exchange documents for torque tools
A technical event has led to the fact that the test certificates of some torque tools may contain deviating measured value information. However, this is a purely documentary error. The tools themselves fulfil the high technical and quality requirements of the manufacturer as well as the specifications of DIN EN ISO 6789:2017 without restriction. All torque tools have successfully passed the testing and calibration process. The cause has been identified, all necessary measures have been implemented and a certificate with the correct measured values is now available for your torque tool.

FAQ
How can I find out whether my tool is affected?
- The individual and unique serial number of the torque tool can be entered on the website drehmoment-zertifikat.de (for German-speaking customers) or torque-certificate.com (for English-speaking customers).
- If the tool is affected, the correct certificate will be issued.
- If the tool with the individual, unique serial number is not affected, a corresponding message is displayed and no certificate download is provided.
What error has occurred? What is wrong with the certificates?
- An incorrect data set may have been loaded when the certificates were created, meaning that the certificates may have incorrect values.
- The values determined during calibration and testing are correctly stored in the database for the affected articles; they were only loaded incorrectly when the values were transferred to the certificate printer.
- The product meets the high quality requirements and the requirements of the manufacturer as well as DIN EN ISO 6789:2017.
Do the torque tools trigger correctly?
- The calibration of the tools was within the tolerances on delivery.
- If a value outside the specified tolerances had been determined, further calibration could NOT have taken place or would have been cancelled.
- The correct references and test devices were used and it was monitored internally during the test whether the measuring range of the test device matched the torque tool to be tested.
